Here is the application process:
1. Completely fill out the enclosed adoption application and return it to us.
2. We will call landlords (if applicable) and references.
3. We will call and interview you about any questions we may have regarding your application/household/the particular cat you have chosen.
4. Once processed and approved, we will call and set up a day/time to meet with you and your chosen pet(s) (if you haven;t already!) so that you can get to know them and decide if you would like to take them home. FOR DOGS: Dog adoptions require an in-home visit.
5. You will sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee and we will give you your new pet's health records.
6. You take your new pet home! FOR CATS: We require that you have a plastic cat carrier to transport them in.
You can return a completed adoption application to us in several ways:
-The quickest and preferred route is to simply email it back after filling it out on the computer: adoption@carspetrescue.org
-You can fax it to: ATTN: Adoptions (253) 238-4425.
